2012 $50 Weekly Menu Plan Week #32- Occasionally, after you’ve carefully planned your weekly menu, your plans change! Maybe some friends stop by, or an event pops up, or you get invited out somewhere else, in any case, what ends up happening in our home is that we just bump the menu plan to the next day, so nothing ends up wasted. This weeks menu plan came to a whopping . . .
$38.62 – we purchased the following items: watermelon, cantaloupe, apples, green beans, grapes, tuna, milk, bread, sharp cheddar cheese, broccoli crowns, lettuce, celery, green peppers, sandwich skinnys, cabbage, carrots, nectarines, yogurt, cream cheese, onions, and potatoes.

This weeks menu plan uses a ton of eggs. The temperatures have been dropping at night and although we’re hitting near triple digits during the day, the cooler nights seemed to have prompted our hens to lay more eggs. We’re getting well over a dozen a day, sometimes nearly 2 dozen a day. Last week, while restocking the freezer, I found 2 rather large hams that had been shoved to the back & since I needed to make room for a few other items, we decided to add that to this weeks menu.
