Grilled pork chops get a kick with this spicy marinade of soy sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, chili sauce and garlic! For convenience, mix the marinade and chops ahead of time and vacuum seal them until needed. A wonderfully easy, make ahead recipe that’s perfect for busy work weeks or camping adventures.

* 3/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium is fine!)
* 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
* 1 tablespoon brown sugar
* 2 tablespoon chili sauce
* 1 tsp minced garlic
* 6-8 center cut pork chops

Combine soy sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, chili sauce and garlic into a small bowl, mixing well. Place chops in a ziploc or vacuum seal bag, add marinade, coating all the meat thoroughly. If using a ziploc bag, remove as much air as possible from the bag. Store in the fridge up to 48 hours prior to cooking.

To Cook: Grill 4-6 minutes on each side. (Meat should reach 160F internally)

If you’re watching your sodium, reduce the amount of soy sauce to 1/2 c. and add 2 tsp Dijon Mustard. This will give it a little kick with less salt.

Oh- and as for the spiciness- it really isn’t spicy, you could add 1 tsp of McCormicks Chipotle Pepper seasoning to kick it up a notch. We have a teen who isn’t overly keen on Spicy food, but he still loves these.
