Where to?
Throughout the summer we've been creating delicious flavors of ice cream- this one is a favorite! A delicious creamy blend of ice cream with yummy chunks of chocolate cookies.2 Eggs
1/2 c. Sugar
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Half & Half or Heavy Cream
8-10 crushed Oreo Cookies
In a small saucepan,
In a large mixing bowl combine 1 c. half & half and cooled egg/sugar mix, stirring until well blended, add remaining half & half & milk and vanilla. Pour into ice cream maker and process according to manufacturers directions. During the last 15 minute of processing add the crushed oreos.
Spoon into 4 c. Bowl, Cover & place in freezer.
Note: The processing is entirely dependent on which type of machine you are using. We use an Iceless Hamilton ice cream maker and generally process these smaller batches of ice cream for 20-25 minutes and add the cookies for the last 5 minutes only.
