This week I purchased fresh broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, spinach, 10 cans of diced tomatoes, a gallon of milk, granny smith apples, fresh lemons, ham, sliced cheese, kielbasa, mandarin oranges, green peppers, lettuce, cukes, brown sugar, flour, olive oil, fake nutella (store brand) a few pounds of shrimp, steaks (marked down!) and sour cream. Total Spent $46.13
Here's our dirt cheap menu plan for the week . . .Monday 27th:
- Breakfast: Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal
- Lunch: Chef Salad
- Dinner: Broccoli Garlic Penne
- Breakfast: Walnut french toast
- Lunch: Leftover Broccoli penne
- Dinner: Sweet & Sour Kielbasa, Garlic Smashed Potatoes, side salad
- Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, raisin toast
- Lunch: Leftover Kielbasa & Salad
- Dinner: 7th Heaven chicken, Baked Potato, Steamed Spinach
- Breakfast: Waffles
- Lunch: Chicken Wraps(preplanned leftovers)
- Dinner: Spinach & Cheese Quiche
- Breakfast: Onion Bagels & cream Cheese
- Lunch: Leftover Quiche
- Dinner: Grilled Italian Marinated Kebabs (Beef, Onions, Green Peppers, Mushrooms) &Salad
- Breakfast: Egg in the Hole
- Lunch: Egg Salad Wraps
- Dinner: Grilled Pork Chops & Black Bean Smothered Sweet Potatoes
- Breakfast: Biscotti & Coffee
- Midday Meal: California Halibut Bake, chipotle Corn, Riced potatoes
- Fresh Fruit- Granny Smith Apples, Cinnamon walnut cherry Cheeseball
- Lemon Chiffon Cake

FYI:
The freezer is still fairly full of chicken that we purchased back in November/Dec- but the traditional February sales cycles tells me to be on the lookout for great deals on steaks, pork ribs, seafood etc. I already found oatmeal about half price (it's National Hot Breakfast month)
