Amazingly tender, well seasoned pork roast enhanced with nutmeg, cumin, garlic, cayenne and oregano which impart an authentic Cajun flavor in every morsel.
This particular recipe couldn't get any easier, preheat the over to 325F.
Rub a 2lb
pork roast with the seasoning mix, covering it well. Place the roast (fat side up) into a shallow pan and bake at 325F for 25 minutes per pound. The meat thermometer should read 155-160F when you remove the meat from the oven.
Set is aside on the warm stove and let it rest for a FULL 10 minutes BEFORE slicing. Allowing it to rest for 10 minutes allows it to finish cooking completely and gives the juices time to run back into the meat where it belongs and will result in extremely tender, juicy slices as pictured here:
This particular recipe cost less than $4 to prepare in all. The pork loin was $1.58 per pound, we cut it into a 2lb roast. The seasoning packet cost .38 in all to prepare. This serves 8 people easily, or .44 per person. Not a bad dinner plan!

For many people struggling to maintain a budget, the cost of groceries is
the only major expense in their control that can be drastically reduced without
