2012 $50 Weekly Menu Plan Week #35- The focus for this weeks menu plan is speed and ease. The evenings are busy for us and we spend much of our time running back and forth playing taxi for our teen sons who are active in various sports and clubs, as well as jobs of their own. As such, meals need toThis week we picked up potatoes, lettuce, celery, cucumbers, summer squash, zucchini, cream cheese, milk, kielbasa, fresh spinach, cauliflower, fresh broccoli, sugar, 2 lbs of sliced ham, flour and oatmeal. Total spent $37.64
If you're trying to pack lunches for your kids for school, keep in mind that deli meats are often on sale in late August and early September and they freeze quite well.
Monday 27th:
*Breakfast: Egg & Cheese Biscuits
*Lunch: Leftover Chop Suey
*Dinner: Chicken Spiedies, potato salad
Tuesday 28th:
*Breakfast: Blueberries & Cream Oatmeal
*Lunch: Wraps made with leftover Spiedie Chicken
*Dinner: Dirty Rice, Salad, Italian Balsamic Grilled Veggies
Wednesday 29th:
*Breakfast: Onion Bagels & cream Cheese
*Lunch: Veggie Wraps
*Dinner: Sweet & Sour Kielbasa, Garlic Smashed Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli
Thursday 30th:
*Breakfast: Cinnamon Cherry Raisin Toast & Coffee
*Lunch: Grilled Ham & Cheese
*Dinner: Mexican Chicken Stew, cornbread
Friday 31st:
*Breakfast: Cereal Bars
*Lunch: Leftover Mexican Stew
*Dinner: Spinach Stuffed Shells, Salad
Saturday 1st:
*Breakfast: Maple Almond Scone bites with Vanilla Glaze
*Lunch: Leftover Shells
*Dinner: Chicken Parmesan & Salad
*Breakfast: French Toast, Coffee
*Lunch: Chicken Wraps & Potato Salad
*Dinner: No Mac Cauliflower & Cheese & Marinated Grilled Pork Chops
Various Snacks & Dessert Items:
* Fresh Apples

* Double Layer No Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake
* Chewy Granola Bars
