This week we picked up the following items, cabbage, pork ribs, pumpkin, vanilla yogurt, lettuce, cucumbers, celery, zucchini, summer squash, kielbasa, rice, kale, cream, cream cheese, apples, 2 boxes of cereal, milk and bread.
Monday 3rd: Happy Labor Day!
*Breakfast: Apple spice Baked Donuts
*Midday Meal: Copycat Chilis Babyback ribs, coleslaw, potato salad
Tuesday 4th:
*Breakfast: Fruit & Yogurt Parfaits (using home-canned peaches)
*Lunch: Leftover Enchiladas
*Dinner: Bubble & Squeak
Wednesday 5th:
*Breakfast: poached eggs on toast
*Lunch: Egg Drop Soup & peanut butter sandwiches
*Dinner: Grilled chicken, scalloped potatoes, salad
Thursday 6th:
*Breakfast: Pumpkin Muffins (only 2 ingredients!)
*Lunch: Salad w/ grilled chicken slices, fresh garden tomatoes
*Dinner: Enchiladas, mexican rice, salad
Friday 7th:
* Breakfast: cereal or oatmeal
* Lunch: Grilled cheese
* Dinner: Copycat Olive Garden Zuppa Toscana Soup, Garlic Bread
Saturday 8th:
* Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, toasted English muffin w/orange juice jelly
* Lunch: leftover toscana
* Dinner: Italian Chicken Saute
Sunday 9th:
*Breakfast: Fruit & Yogurt Parfaits
*Lunch: Curried Egg Salad wraps
*Dinner: Sweet & Sour Kielbasa, Garden Salad
Various Snacks & Dessert Items:
* Cinnamon Apple Cherry Cheeseball & Apple slices
* Muffins
* Pumpkin Whoopie Pies
* Chewy Granola Bars
Drinks included:
* Iced Tea (Sweet Tea)
* Coffee
* Lemonade
* Copycat Gatorade
* CopyCat Arizona Green Tea
A few things I'd like to share: Finally the hot weather has passed by and our garden is producing decent bell and jalapeno peppers once again. We're also getting handfuls of cherry tomatoes here and there, as well as fresh eggplant.
