Tailgate Bites Bite site morsels of taco meat, diced tomatoes, cheese and various toppings in a handy bite size edible bowl. These mess free munchies are great for parties, games, tailgating and more.
A quick note about the Taco meat- it's simply a pound of ground beef or ground turkey that has been browned and
drained with a pkg of taco seasoning and a can of undrained diced tomatoes. This is something that I frequently make ahead of time and freeze for super-fast dinners on nights when the kids have sports/games/events.

      You'll Need:
      Wonton Wrappers
Taco Meat (Ground beef, taco seasoning, diced tomatoes)
      Diced Tomatoes
      Sliced Jalapenos
      Shredded Cheese

      Preheat the oven to 350F

Line each cup of a mini-muffin pan with a wonton wrapper. Fill with a teaspoon of cooked taco meat.

      Sprinkle with shredded cheese:

Bake in oven for 5-8 minutes, or until wontons are lightly browned and cheese is melted.

Remove from muffin tin and place on a plate. Top with desired toppings, such as black olives, sour cream, diced tomatoes, jalapeno slices, etc.

      Serve Immediately

These are wonderful for tailgating or at parties. They're about 2 bites each, mess free and easy to handle. The wonton cups maintain their shape quite well and do not get soggy.
