This is by far our most
2/3-1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
(2) Pkg Liss Italian Dressing Seasoning Mix OR 2 pkg Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix (OR 1 pkg Italian Dressing Mix AND 1 pkg Ranch Dressing Mix)
3 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes
1 (16.5 ounce) package saltine crackers Or Oyster Crackers (or 2- 10oz packages)
In a small bowl combine vegetable oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, dressing mix, and crushed red pepper flakes. Whisk until well combined. Empty 2 sleeves of crackers into a 1 gallon ziploc bag, pour half of the firecracker juice over the crackers.
Empty the remaining 2 sleeves of crackers into another 1 gallon bag and add the remaining firecracker juice. Seal the bags, shake gently to coat well with seasoning/spices. Let the bags set for about an hour, shake/turn to coat the crackers and allow them to set for about 8 hours or overnight before serving.
If you're preparing these on game day, do it early in the morning so they're ready
