• MYO: KFC Gravy Mix

We all know the Colonel has the Best Gravy recipe ever, but this one is so close to the real thing, your family will never know the difference. Here's the best part, this delicious copycat KFC gravy recipe is a make ahead mix recipe, so you can whip it up and have it ready to serve in less than 5 minutes.

    You'll Need:

    5 tablespoons flour
    2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
    2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
1/2 to 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (to your taste preference)

Combine all ingredients in a baggie or small jar, makes 1 mix.

    Additional Ingredients to Make it:

1 packet of Mix (as listed above)
    3 tablespoons butter
    2 1/2 cups water
    1/2 onion, finely chopped

To make the gravy, heat the butter in saucepan over medium heat, add the onion, saute until they're translucent, about a minute, add the gravy mix, stirring constantly until it starts to form a ball. Add the water, all at once, whisking gently to break up any lumps or clumps, continue whisking over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Remove from heat, serve.

This goes great with Homemade KFC Chicken & Homemade KFC Potato Wedges

Do NOT make this nasty gravy! Yuk! Right down the drain. Tastes like salty brown flour water strained through old socks
