    Copycat Arizona Green Tea

This is one of our favorite drinks to keep in the fridge. It's cheap to make and tastes great.

    8 c. water , Boiled
    1 Lipton green tea bag
1/2 C. sugar (or 1/3 c. if you prefer a little less sweet)
    2 T. honey
    2 3/4 T. lemon juice
1/4 T. ginseng extract (We omit this one)

Steep tea bag in hot water for an hour. Add remaining ingredients, and serve over ice.

Yes. Omitting an item is leaving it out. :-)

I make a point to grow stevia every year. Just add a few bruised leaves when you are pouring the hot water over the tea. The sugar in this fantastic recipe will not be necessary.

Does this Lipton green tea bag only come in one size? The size that normally makes one cup of tea?

    Re: Copycat Arizona Green Tea

Is it really just one little tea bag to 8 cups of water? Admittedly, I don't drink iced tea and have never had Arizona iced tea, but one tea bag to 8 cups water seems odd. Is it a large tea bag? Thanks.

Here the ginseng extract is an awful price.... do you think that a capsule of ginseng emptied into the mix would be ok ??
