Garlic Smashed Potatoes
If you're tired of the same ol' mash potatoes, make Smashed Potatoes.
4-6 Medium potatoes, washed thoroughly, cut into small chunks
2 cloves minced garlic
2 T. Fresh Parsley, chopped
3 T. Butter
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/8 c. milk
Bring the potato chunks to a boil over medium- high heat. Continue boiling until tender. Remove from heat, drain.
In a large bowl dump the potatoes, milk, parsley, garlic, butter, salt & pepper. Smash the potatoes with a potato masher until desired consistency.
The biggest difference between Mashed potatoes and smashed potatoes is the peelings. Smashed potatoes are the busy man's way of serving them
