This weeks $50 Menu plan help across the USA spotlight is on East Liverpool, Ohio! Luckily, there are some great resources available in this particular area!

Shanley Posted, “I live in East Liverpool OH. The zipcode is 43920. I currently spend over $100 a week on groceries. I would love to see how you could plan a $50 a week menu form my area stores. Giant Eagle, WalMart, and Aldi. Thank you so much.

We’re not quire sure what size family Shanley is feeding with her budget, but we’re going to plan this menu for a family of 4. If you’ve been following our menu plans from the beginning, you know that we don’t advocate trying to buy all of your groceries in a single week. You’ll save considerably more money in the long run if you divide your monthly grocery budget allotment up- spend a portion on meat and divide the remaining amount on weekly loss leaders and fresh produce. Additional details about how/where to find deals on meats as well as how to plan the menu are available in our eBook, “The 2012 Family Guide to Groceries under $250 a Month“.
