2012 $50 Weekly Menu Plan Week #35-The focus for this weeks menu plan is speed and ease. The evenings are busy for us and we spend much of our time running back and forth playing taxi for our teen sons who are active in various sports and clubs, as well as jobs of their own. As such, meals need to be quick and easy to reheat.

This week we picked up potatoes, lettuce, celery, cucumbers, summer squash, zucchini, cream cheese, milk, kielbasa, fresh spinach, cauliflower, fresh broccoli, sugar, 2 lbs of sliced ham, flour and oatmeal. Total spent $37.64
If you’re trying to pack lunches for your kids for school, keep in mind that deli meats are often on sale in late Augustand early September and they freeze quite well.
