2012 $50 Weekly Menu Plan Week #36-Happy Labor Day! This weeks menu plan focuses on the lovely flavors of fall. This weeks total came to a whopping $47.81
If you’ve been following our menu plans you know that a couple weeks ago you already know that we did freezer restock week and our freezer is quite full of various cuts of meat/chicken. This week we picked up the following items, cabbage, pork ribs, pumpkin, vanilla yogurt, lettuce, cucumbers, celery, zucchini, summer squash, kielbasa, rice, kale, cream, cream cheese, apples, 2 boxes of cereal, milk and bread.
Monday 3rd:Happy Labor Day!
*Breakfast: Apple spice Baked Donuts
*Midday Meal:Copycat Chilis Babyback ribs, coleslaw, potato salad
*Breakfast: Pumpkin Muffins (only 2 ingredients!)
*Lunch: Salad w/ grilled chicken slices, fresh garden tomatoes
*Dinner: Enchiladas, mexican rice, salad
* Breakfast:cereal or oatmeal
* Lunch: Grilled cheese
* Dinner:Copycat Olive Garden Zuppa Toscana Soup, Garlic Bread
* Breakfast:Scrambled eggs, toasted English muffin w/orange juice jelly
* Lunch:leftover toscana soup
* Dinner: Italian Chicken Saute
Various Snacks & Dessert Items:
A few things I’d like to share: Finally the hot weather has passed by and our garden is producing decent bell and jalapeno peppers once again. We’re also getting handfuls of cherry tomatoes here and there, as well as fresh eggplant.
