2013 $50 Weekly Menu Plan Week #12: As is traditional following St. Patricks day, many grocery stores are offering sales on Corned Beef and all the fixings for a boiled dinner, deep discounts on various frozen goods (to make room for the new goodies that will soon be hitting the shelves!), as well as deals on traditional Easter meals. With that in mind we’ve picked up the following this week . . .

Ham, Corned Beef Brisket (to freeze), cabbage, red potatoes, milk, 25 packages of Frozen Vegetables (Various) to restock the freezer, grapes, carrots, oranges, bananas, lettuce, celery, cream cheese, cucumbers, and bread. Total Spent, $64.88

FYI Section:
It has been brought to our attention that a few folks who are just joining us are getting the wrong impression that we purchase EVERYTHING at once for each weeks menu plan. This is not the case at all, nor do we recommend it. We are incorporating items purchased or home canned weeks ago into the menu plan this week.
