    Faux Hot Wings

    1 Large Head of cauliflower, broken down into florets
    1/3 cup water or milk
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour (or rice flour, if making gluten-free)
    1 tablespoon butter, melted
    1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon onion powder
    kosher salt and freshly ground Black Pepper, to taste
    1/3- 1/2 cup Frank’s hot sauce (or any brand you prefer)

    Preheat oven to 450º F

    Line a baking sheet with a silpat, parchment paper or lightly coat with non-stick spray

    In a Medium sized bowl combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper, whisking until smooth, add water (or milk) whisking again.
    Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter, coating it evenly, then gently shake off excess. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.

    Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until batter sets, remove from oven, Flip florets over and cook for another 5 minutes to ensure even cooking throughout.

    In a medium bowl that has a cover, whisk the hot sauce and melted butter until smooth and combined. Remove cauliflower from oven gently transfer to the hot sauce, cover, shake gently to completely coat with the buffalo sauce, then transfer the coated cauliflower back to the baking sheet, return to oven and bake for an additional 8- 10 minutes, or until vegetables have absorbed sauce and have taken on a crispy wing-like appearance.

    Remove from oven, plate. Serve with Blue Cheese Dressing and celery sticks!
