    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 cup sour cream
    3 eggs
    2 cups shredded Mexican-style cheese
1 T. Fajita, Taco or Burrito seasoning (optional)
1 pound lean Ground Beef (or ground turkey)
    1 cup salsa
1 4-oz. can Minced Green Chilis
    Pepper Flakes

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Brown the ground meat, drain any fat and add 1 cup salsa.

Mix the cream cheese, sour cream, eggs, 1 cup cheese and seasoning (optional).

Pour about half of the egg/cheese mixture into the bottom of a prepared 8” or 9” square baking dish. Add the meat, a layer of shredded cheese, a layer of minced green chilis and then the rest of the egg/cheese mixture. Sprinkle a little of the shredded cheese on top and a few pepper flakes on top of the cheese.

Bake at 350F for 30-40 minutes

    Makes 8 Servings
