Searched and searched and I found a great crunchy granola bar recipe.

    4 c. quick oats
    1 c. Packed brown sugar
    1/2 c butter, melted
    1/2 c honey
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp salt

Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Press into a well greased 15×10 jelly roll pan. Bake at 450 for 10-12 minute or until golden brown and bubbly. cool and cut into bars.

I adapted the recipe from a cooks.com recipe that called for nuts and raisins. We were looking for a nature valley honey kind of recipe. Be careful not to overbake or they will burn on the edges.
