AnonymousI think I saw this on Weight Watchers-
All you need, is 1 jar of salsa (you choose), and boneless chicken. I personally use boneless skinless chicken breast, and in the crock pot, I put it in FROZEN, and un-cooked. I know, sounds weird. But the crock pot will cook it.
The key for chicken breast, is to put it in frozen, so that it does not come out “dry” by meal time. There isn’t a lot of fat in chicken breast, so it can dry out quickly. I read somewhere, to try putting it in frozen, and it comes out yummy!! Just put it on low, for about 6 hours, and it is YUMMY!!!
We put it in taco shells, you can use it just by itself, you decide!!

AnonymousI love using chicken and salsa in the crockpot together! You can also use it to flavor or marinade cheaper cuts like leg quarters.

AnonymousIn addition to the salsa… You can add additional flavor, if desired by adding any or all of the following seasoning/flavors to taste: garlic powder, ground cumin, chili powder (type and amount depends on heat desired), cilantro, and lime juice. And heat up Mexican rice and/or refried/black/pinto beans to serve as sides or add to tortillas. Chicken can be added whole to tortillas or shredded up in juices in crockpot and then added to tortillas.
Happy eating!!
