Since the IEM Krakow 2026 tournament is in full swing right now, in which seemingly cool teams are playing impossibly badly, I suddenly remembered CS 1.6. It used to be a legendary shooter, which, in my opinion, has been unjustifiably forgotten, even though 7-8 years ago it was on everyone’s lips. By the way, have you played in classic CS 1.6 tournaments?

Oh, in my youth, I dreamed of joining an esports team. I don’t even remember how many hours I played back then, participating in competitions at local computer clubs. I had very big ambitions, but unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get any further. Nevertheless, my love for classic CS 1.6 hasn’t gone anywhere. I downloaded it from CSget https://csget.me/ a couple of months ago with a friend, and it brought back memories and made me want to test my skills to see if I had lost them over such a long time. Just so you know, in the very first game, they wanted to kick me out for unauthorized use of third-party software. I even underwent verification by the server administrators, but they confirmed that I didn’t have anything prohibited, I just play well 🙂
