hello from Louisiana

Hello. I am a mother of 3. The oldest is almost 19 and the youngest is 10months. My middle child started Prek this year.

Here in the south we start almost every conversation with “so what y’all doing for dinner” followed by “hey guess what we had for lunch” so my grocery budget was getting a little out of control. We really don’t have any financial issues with fast food or eating out because I love to cook and we aren’t big fans of eating out. I love this site because I never made a weekly menu before and I never followed a budget. I am now working hard to do both.
