I’ve been eating low carb a few years and it works great for me. I don’t follow it exactly but pretty close. The problem is that I’m spending $500 a month on food for 2 adults. I want to lower this to $400 a month.

Husband spends $50 a month on snacks (non-negotional) and I spend the same (negotional).

I’ve been shopping weekly and that has helped quite a bit. I have a price notebook and estimate what I am spending on the menu I have planned.

I’m wondering if there are any other low carber’s here? I’d love to know what you spend. I would be thrilled to get my groceries down to $400-450 a month. Do you think it’s possible without messing with the snacks (they help us not feel deprived).

    Thanks so much!

Have you tried adding in hot peppers and other immunity boosters? Could also be your body detoxing. Hopefully now (7 mos later) you are feeling better.
