    Hey everyone,

I’ve been tinkering with setting up my own Terraria Server so I could play with friends without relying on random public servers. At first, I thought it would be straightforward, but I ran into issues like lag, world corruption, and the server randomly crashing when more players joined. It turns out that hosting Terraria properly needs more resources than I expected, especially if you want mods or a larger world size.

After digging around, I realized the problem wasn’t the game itself but the server environment. A lot of people try to host it directly on their own PC, which can work for small groups, but it gets messy when you want stability. That’s when I found that going with a dedicated host can save you time and frustration. From my research, HostNoc seems to offer reliable options for this, so if you’re tired of juggling port forwarding and lag spikes, it’s worth considering.

Has anyone else had similar struggles with Terraria hosting, and what worked best for you?
