During diarrhea, avoid foods that worsen symptoms. Steer clear of high-fiber foods like beans, broccoli, and whole grains, which can irritate the gut. Dairy products, such as milk and cheese, may be hard to digest due to lactose. Avoid fatty, greasy foods like fried items, as they slow digestion. Sugary drinks and caffeine, including soda and coffee, can stimulate the bowels, aggravating diarrhea. Alcohol should also be avoided. If prescribed cephalexin capsules for an infection causing diarrhea, take them as directed, but consult a doctor if symptoms persist. Opt for bland, low-fiber foods like bananas, rice, and toast.
