A traditional favorite of perfectly roasted onions, herbs and a tiny dash of soy sauce for a low fat, healthy version of a traditional favorite without artificial seasonings and sodium!

You’ll Need:
1 Large Onion, cut into 1/2″ Slices
1 T. Olive Oil
1 T. Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp Sea Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper

1 – 12 oz Container Low Fat Sour Cream (or vegan sour cream- Toffuti)
3/4 tsp Soy Sauce (low sodium works well!)
1/2 tsp dried Thyme

Mix sliced onions, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt & pepper in a pie plate, bake at 450F for 15-18 minutes. (Or until onions are browned).

Remove from oven and cool. Chop the seasoned onions (coarsely) and sour cream, soy sauce and thyme. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for flavors to incorporate.
