Donuts are one of America’s favorite breakfast foods, but most people don’t make them at home because they seem like a daunting task. Here are a couple recipes that we like to make up ahead of time to create a super easy breakfast in about 12 minutes (including baking time!)

Chocolate Donuts
1 1/2 c. Flour
1/3 c. unsweetened baking cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
2/3 c. sugar

Combine those ingredients into a bowl, mix well and then pour into a ziploc bag. Write the remaining remaining ingredients need to complete the recipe onto the bag. simple-chocolate-sugared-donuts

To Use:
1 Recipe of Mix (as listed above)
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
2 T. Melted Butter

Pour batter into a donut pan which has been sprayed with non-stick spray. Fill each cavity 2/3’s full to create perfectly shaped donuts. Bake at 325F for 8 minutes or until doughnuts spring back when touched.

Remove from pan and roll in granulated sugar.

For donut pansI prefer Norpro because they truly DONT stick and you can flip the pan over and use the cavity on the other side to make donut holes if you like.
