• Week #4 $50 Weekly Menu

    Week 4 Grocery Notes: Using the grocery guide, I took advantage of the sales in our area and purchased the following: 1 head of lettuce, 1 head of cauliflower, 3 fresh tomatoes, 1 green pepper, carrots, 1 cuke, radishes, Milk, 2 lbs ground turkey, steaks & a pot roast.

    January 24th - 30th
    Monday 24th:

    Tuesday 25th:

    • Breakfast: Cereal or Oatmeal
    • Lunch: Tuna Salad Sandwiches or Wraps
    • Dinner: Split
      Pea Soup (from the leftover ham Saturday!)

    Wednesday 26th

    Thursday 27th:

    • Breakfast: Muffins
    • Lunch: Leftover Split Pea Soup
    • Dinner: Hand held Meat Pies (from leftover pot roast)

    Friday 28th:

    • Breakfast: Bagels & Cream Cheese
    • Lunch: Salad with chopped hard boiled egg, homemade dressing
    • Dinner: Shrimp Wiggle

    Saturday 29th:

    Sunday 30th:

    • Breakfast: Fritatta
    • Lunch:
      BLT's, Potato Salad
    • Dinner: Creamy Apple Bacon Chicken , brown rice, salad

    Various Snacks:

    A few things I'd like to share:

    You may have noticed that we frequently have muffins for breakfast or snacks. Generally speaking, I prefer to make several different kinds of muffins, wrap them individually in saran wrap and place them in the freezer door. To have a perfect hot breakfast, simply unwrap, pop it in the microwave for 22 seconds and it's the perfect temperature .
