Blueberry Ginger Smoothie
Your tastebuds will feel like dancing when you combine the flavors of sweet-tart blueberries, vanilla yogurt, and just the right combination of gingered honey!
Our teenage son has taken an extreme interest in getting fit (and trying to attain those rock-Hard abs that we all seem to strive for!). In our effort to support him in eating healthy, we've been trying lots of new flavorful healthy recipes. Since smoothies are extremely simple to prepare in under 5 minutes, they're perfect for breakfast
or a quick snack.
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth, (blending is faster if your first ingredient in the blender is the yogurt) Serve immediately. Makes 2 servings.
If you're working out and using a protein powder, you can add 1 scoop of your favorite vanilla Whey powder to this smoothie for added protein.
