    Week #33 Grocery Notes: Time to restock the freezer! If you've followed our previous weeks, you already know that we often purchase meat and chicken in bulk to get really great deals, as low at .60 a pound for decent cuts of meat.This week I grabbed 16 lbs of chicken, a few pounds of sweet potatoes, cantaloupe, bananas, nectarines, broccoli, lettuce, celery, milk and cheese. Total Grocery expense for this week is $51.12

    August 15th- August 21st

    Monday August 15th:

    * Breakfast: Raisin Toast,
    Scrambled Eggs, Coffee
    * Lunch: grilled cheese
    * Dinner: American Chop Suey, Salad, Garlic Parmesan Swirl Biscuits

    August 16th:

    * Breakfast: Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits
    * Lunch: Leftover Chop Suey
    * Dinner: Chicken Parmesan, jasmine rice, Garden Salad

    Wednesday August 17th:

    * Breakfast: Berry Dazzling Pudding
    * Lunch:Chicken Wraps & Sliced tomatoes
    * Dinner: Grilled Steak, Savory sweet potato fries, steamed broccoli

    Thursday August 18th

    * Breakfast: Banana Bread slices, Coffee
    * Lunch: Honey Dijon egg salad wraps
    * Dinner: Halibut Chowder, Baking Powder Biscuits

    Friday August 19th:

    * Breakfast: trilled
    biscuits, Cantaloupe chunks & yogurt
    * Lunch: leftover Halibut chowder
    * Dinner: Eggplant Gateau

    Saturday August 20th:

    * Breakfast: poached eggs on toast
    * Lunch: Kicked Up Egg cucumber boats (hollow out a cucumber half, fill)
    * Dinner: Copycat Hooters Hot wings, Macaroni Salad

    Sunday August 21st:

    * Breakfast: Banana French Toast
    * Lunch: BLT Bowls
    * Dinner: Stuffed Syrian Squash, Grilled Chicken

    Various Snacks & Dessert Items:

    * Fresh Fruit- Banana's, Watermelon, Nectarines, Peaches
    * Banana Bread
    * Frozen Frappaccinos
    * Fruit Sorbet
    * Fudge Cream Puffs

    Drinks included:

    * Iced Tea (Sweet Tea)
    * Coffee
    * Lemonade
    * Copycat Gatorade
    * CopyCat Arizona Green Tea

    A few things I'd like to share: The garden is still producing, but not wonderfully. I managed to salvage some green peppers, cukes
    and a couple tomatoes, 2 beautiful eggplants and a single lone squash. Yum!
