• 2013 $50 Weekly Menu Plan Week #21

2013 $50 Weekly Menu Plan Week #21: Spring and summer veggies are already becoming abundant and it's great to whip up fresh grilled veggies as a side dish. You'll notice that some of this weeks recipes are actually Camping recipes as we hit the State Parks and enjoy all that nature has to offer. Somehow dining outdoors really brings out the flavor of the food . . .
and of course, it's nice to be out of the kitchen and away from the daily grind. Somehow we always manage to spend a little more on
food when we're camping than when we're home. This week we picked up the following: ground turkey, steak, zucchini, summer squash, bell peppers (green/red/yellow/orange), cream cheese, string beans, limes, apples, bananas, pears, raspberries, sliced ham, sliced cheese, bread, shrimp, celery, lettuce, shell pasta, frozen peas & frozen corn, tortilla chips for a grand total of $52.56

From our garden we harvested: Fresh radishes, tomatoes, jalapenos
