    2013 $50 Weekly Menu Plan Week #41: October is National pork month and as such, if you watch the weekly sales flyers of your favorite local stores, you're liable to score some great deals that will allow you to stock up the freezer. Total spent this week $22.88

    From the Store & Farmers Market: Strawberries, artisan lettuce, celery, cucumber, fresh broccoli, bell peppers, bananas, celery, Vanilla yogurt

    From the Garden: tomatoes, jalapenos, carrots
    From our Backyard: Fresh Eggs

    Breakfast Options for this week:




    Monday October 7th:
    • Lunch: Leftover tortilla Soup & cornbread
    • Dinner: Sloppy Joes, Salad

      I love that your menus, for the most part, include meat at least once a day (usually at dinner). This is AWESOME and i'm so glad I found it! I struggle with keeping a budget and also keeping my husband happy as far as food goes, he is of the belief that if he doesnt have meat on his plate at dinner, he WILL still be hungry. Personally I could get by without meat, but, I want to make food he will enjoy too! Thanks for this site!!
