    Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treats
This easy festive Halloween snack treat can be ready in under 30 minutes with minimal effort.

    You'll Need:
    1 Bag Marshmallows (10oz)
    3 TBS Butter
    6 c. Krispie Rice Cereal
    Green Food Coloring
1 c. Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Butter a 9x13 baking dish and set aside.

Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat then add the marshmallows, stirring constantly
until they are completely melted. Add several drops of green food coloring, stirring with each addition until you achieve the color you desire. Immediately remove from heat and stir in the rice cereal until thoroughly incorporated.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared 9x13 dish and using the back of your spoon, press the krispies into place making an even layer throughout the dish. Set aside to cool for 5 minutes. While they cool, heat the chocolate in a glass dish in the microwave for 25 seconds at a time, stirring well between each heating. It will take about 2 minutes in all to melt the chocolate.

Cut the krispies into bars (we
used 2 different sizes because we brought them to a party with varying age kids!) but you can cut them however large or small you prefer.

Dip one end of each krispie bar into the chocolate to create Frankensteins "Hair". Place the dipped treat on a cookie sheet that has been covered with wax paper or aluminum foil. Once you've dipped each of the heads, transfer a couple tablespoons full of chocolate into a frosting bag (make your own here) and then draw on the eyes, mouth and scar onto each face. If you're in a hurry like we were, you can toss the entire tray into the freezer for about 3-5 minutes to harden the chocolate.

    Enjoy your Instant Frankenstein treats!
