• Chinese Pork Ribs

This recipe for Chinese pork ribs takes about 20 minutes to get onto the table for fork-tender pork reminiscent of your favorite Chinese establishment. It also only requires 3 ingredients!
This particular recipe is not the realm of what I would consider the best "Healthy Food Choice", but having grown up in New England eating ribs smothered in ah-so sauce, this is a Must have recipe at least once a year! I have yet to come up with a comparable copycat recipe for Ah-So sauce, but it's not for
    the lack of trying!
The jars themselves are generally less than $2.50 at big box stores, although they can be purchased online in a pinch.

    You'll Need:
1 Rack of Boneless Loin Pork Ribs (you could use ribs with bone in, just add more cooking time)
    1 jar of Ah-So Sauce
    S&P
    1/4 cup water

In order to save time and effort, we're throwing this recipe into the Digital Pressure Cooker. Lightly season the meat on both sides with salt and pepper. Place it in the digital pressure cooker. In a small bowl mix 1/2 c. of sauce with 1/4 c. of water, then pour the mixture over the pork. Set the timer on the pressure cooker for17 minutes, seal
the lid, be sure the pressure gauge is set to "Airtight" and then press Start.

During the last 5 minutes of cooking, preheat the broiler on the oven.

Once the timer has gone off, release the steam manually, place the cooked ribs on a cookie sheet and baste generously with the remaining sauce in the jar. Place under the broiler for about 3 minutes to finish.

Serve this with homemade fried rice for a fantastic "Take-Out" night!

In case you're wondering, we use the MaxiMatic Digital Pressure cooker. It's fantastic for making last minute meals that are tender, juicy and virtually effortless.
