As we mentioned, you can substitute the Cherry pie filling with blueberry, apple, strawberry, peach pie filling, etc for a simple, versatile cobbler.
2 (20-ounce) cans cherry pie filling
2 c. Homemade Quick Mix (Or Bisquick)
1/2 c. Milk
2 Tbs Sugar
2 Tbs Softened Butter
Dump the pie filling into a 9'x9' baking dish,
In the meantime, mix the quickmix, milk, sugar and butter together to form a soft dough. Remove the warmed filling from the oven, Spoon the dough onto the warm filling. You can sprinkle this with cinnamon and sugar if you'd like!
Bake 16-20 minutes until the cobbler topping is nicely browned.
Watch for sales on canned pie fillings around Thanksgiving time and again in the spring around Easter. It's a great time
