Delicious pasta shells bursting with a cheesy spinach filling make this classic italian dish a family favorite.
1 pkg. Frozen Spinach, thawed & rinsed
2 c. cottage cheese
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
2 c. Spaghetti Sauce
1 c. mozzarella cheese
2 egg whites
2 cloves garlic, minced
Large Pasta Shells, uncooked
preheat the oven to 375F
Boil a couple quarts of water with a dash of salt. While your waiting for the water to boil mix the cottage cheese, spinach, the parmesan cheese,garlic, egg whites and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix well.
Cook the Shells, drain, rinse in cool water (to make them easier to handle). Fill with the spinach mixture and place in a large baking pan. Top lightly with sauce and the remainder of mozzarella cheese.
Bake 15-20 minutes, serve with toasted garlic bread
