Tailgater’s Sticky turkey balls are the ultimate cocktail meatball recipe!
If you don’t have half an hour to make your own meatballs, you can use pre-made meatballs in this recipe as well. Generally when we make them, we use ground turkey rather than ground beef.

You’ll Need:
2 lbs of Meatballs
1 Jar Apricot Preserves/Jam
1 pkg Onion Soup Mix(or 5 Tbs Homemade mix)

Combine preserves/jam & Mix in a large saucepan over medium heat, mixing well. Bring to a simmer, add cooked meatballs, fold gently to coat the meatballs without breaking them. Reduce heat, simmer until meatballs are heated throughout.

Serve with Cocktail Skewers

Or if you want to turn this into a full meal for a family, serve over hot steamed rice for a quick, delicious dinner.

If you want to kick it up a notch, add 1 finely diced (seeded) jalapeno pepper to the sauce while it is simmering, before adding the meatballs.

  1. The directions make no mention of the dry soup mix… so I assume “combine the preserves and jam” was meant to say “combine preserves and soup mix?”
