Love the taste of cheesecake but hate the mess and the wait while it bakes? Here is a super simple Cheesecake dip recipe that is simple to make in just a couple minutes, makes a wonderful light snack, appetizer or party recipe. Oh, and did I mention they’re fun to eat?!
Creamy, smooth cheesecake dip surrounds a delectably sweet fresh strawberry or cherry and dipped lightly in crunchy graham cracker crumbs, this will quickly become a requested favorite.
You’ll Need:
1 (8oz) package of Cream Cheese
1 c. Confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 c. Sour Cream
Graham cracker crumbs
Fresh Strawberries or Cherries
In a medium bowl combine cream cheese, confectioners sugar, vanilla and sour cream, beating with a hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth. Spoon into a small bowl.
Dip the strawberries or cherries into the cheesecake dip and then dip in graham cracker crumbs.
If you’d like to make a tray ahead of time for a party, add a dollop of cheesecake dip on a tray and use it to stand the strawberries up, like this:
It’s that easy, Really! If you’d like to make this lower fat you can substitute Neufchatel in place of the cream cheese. This is also delicious on fresh pineapple spears, cantaloupe pieces, blueberries (impale several on toothpicks for easy dipping!) and more.
Any ideas on how to make this without the powdered sugar?
