Mango never tasted so good! A quickie make-ahead grab and go breakfast of rolled oats, yogurt and fresh mango delicately enhanced with a touch of almonds makes this a favorite flavor. . .
(I apologize in advance for not getting a decent photo, apparently, this is my sons favorite flavor, because he ate ALL 3 jars before I had a chance to take a picture of them!)
You’ll Need:
1/4 c. Old fashioned rolled oats, uncooked
1/3 c. vanilla almond milk (Homemade or store bought)
1/4 c. vanilla yogurt
2 tsp chia seeds
1/4 tsp almond extract
1/4 c. diced fresh mango
Measure the rolled oats, chia seeds, yogurt, almond extract and almond milk into the mason jar, put the cover on, seal and shake to combine.
Uncap the jar and add the fresh mango pieces then stir with a spoon or recap and shake vigorously. We recommend the handheld vacuum sealer method for sealing the jars up to 7-9 days. Otherwise, use within 3-4 days.
Place in the fridge and leave it for at least 4 hours before consuming.
