A festive holiday punch recipe with a light peppermint flavor, this creamy recipe is perfect for holiday parties . . .
Depending on the brand of ice cream you use, this punch will range from a very light pink to almost eggnog color. We frequently use homemade peppermint ice cream during the holidays.
You’ll Need:
1 qt. peppermint ice cream, softened
1 c. milk, chilled
2-ltr. bottle ginger ale, chilled
Peppermint Snow & Peppermint sticks
Blend together ice cream and milk; stir gently in a the middle of a punch bowl. Slowly add ginger ale; stirring with a spoon to combine the ingredients.
Serve the punch in a glass that has been rimmed with peppermint and a candy cane or peppermint stick to stir it with.
To Make your Own Peppermint Ice Cream:
To make your own peppermint ice cream simply add 1/2 cup of peppermint snow to 1 recipe of homemade vanilla ice cream (omit 1 tsp of the vanilla extract and add 1 tsp peppermint extract).
