Before you begin make sure that you’ve grabbed a can of Sweetened Condensed milk NOT evaporated milk! Evaporated milk does not contain sugar and will not work in this recipe, They are not interchangeable.
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (14oz) (NOT Evaporated milk)
1 pkg Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips (12oz)
1/4 c. Real Butter
1 c. Chopped Walnuts
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Butter an 8″x8″ pan and set aside
In a microwave safe bowl combine chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk, butter stir to blend. Microwave on 50% power for 5 minutes, removing from microwave to stir once every minute. The fudge mixture should be hot, shiny and smooth. Add the nuts and vanilla extract stirring well then immediately pour into prepared pan. Refrigerate for 2 hours prior to cutting.
Maple Walnut Fudge
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 pkg white chocolate chips
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp Maple Extract
