Week #22 Grocery Notes: So far this month, the menu budget has come in Way below our $50 per week budget. In week #19 we spent $12 and in week #20 we spent $23 which left us with $65 of Extra cash to put towards this weeks budget, (total breakdown and grocery list below!)

May 30th– June 5th – Happy Memorial Day !!

Monday May 30th:

* Breakfast: Yogurt Berry Parfaits
* Lunch:Grilled Hot Dogs, Potato Salad
* Dinner: BBQ Chicken, Macaroni Salad

Tuesday May 31st

* Breakfast: Cereal (Special K with Berries)
* Lunch:Southerner’s Egg Salad Wraps
* Dinner: Bubble & Squeak

Wednesday June 1st:

* Breakfast: Egg Scramble Wraps (Cheese, eggs, diced onions/green peppers)
* Lunch:Sliced Fresh Tomatoes from the Garden, Cucumber Sandwiches
* Dinner: Grilled Spareribs, Potato Salad

Thursday June 2nd:

* Breakfast: Yogurt Berry Parfaits
* Lunch:Garden Salad, Hard boiled egg slices & Sprinkle of Shredded Cheese
* Dinner: Lemon Pepper Grilled Bass, Italian Marinated Summer Squash (also grilled)

Friday June 3rd:

* Breakfast: Cereal (Special K w/ berries- got it for $1 a box at Walmart!)
* Lunch:Macaroni Salad, fresh sliced garden tomatoes
* Dinner: Fully Loaded Pizza (Homemade) (Our loaded pizza consists of onions, peppers, jalapenos and whatever meats available- pepperoni, sausage, bbq chicken, etc)

Saturday June 4th:

* Breakfast: Berry Yogurt Smoothies (Kids Choice- Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, Bananas)
* Lunch:Tropical Mango Egg Salad Sandwiches
* Dinner: Beef Kebabs, sweet potato fries

Sunday June 5th:

* Breakfast: Poached eggs on toast
* Lunch:Garden Salad
* Dinner: Italian Spinach Pie & Garlic Parmesan Swirls

Various Snacks & Dessert Items:

* French Onion Dip & Chips, Carrot Sticks
* Sorbet
* Granny Smith Apples & Almond Walnut Dip
* Angel Food Cake w/ Fresh Berries
* Hard Boiled Eggs
* Fresh Fruit- banana’s, apples, pears, berries

Drinks included:

* Iced Tea or herbal teas
* Coffee
* Lemonade
* Copycat Gatorade

A few things I’d like to share : This week we spent a grand total of $90- however, as I mentioned above, we are still well below our $200 a month budget based on previous weeks savings.

Week #19= Spent $12 = $38 saved for another week
Week #20- Spent $23 = $27 saved for another week
week #21- spent $41 = $9 saved for another week

Total of $74 still available + this weeks $50 = $124.

Week #22 – spent $90.26 = $33.74 Surplus STILL!
