Egg in the Hole - One-eyed Jack

You'll need the following per person:

    1 slice bread
    a bit of butter
    1 Lg Egg

Butter both sides of the bread and cut out a small hole from the center. Heat a small skillet, break the egg into the middle, once it starts bubbling, flip it and cook the other side. Total breakfast takes less than 5 minutes!

Re: Egg in the Hole - One-eyed Jack

I have found it works better to cook one side of the bread first ....turn over then add the egg in the center. If you'd like ..when its finished, flip it back over to cook the yolk as you'd like it.
This is for those that like me don't like a hard yolk
