If you like cooked carrots, these butter chived carrots are a great side dish!

1 lb pkg. baby carrots
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1 T. dried chives
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. fresh ground black pepper

In a medium saucepan place carrots and approximately 1 cup of water, cover, bring to a boil over medium/high heat. Reduce heat to medium - cook 10-15 minutes until tender.

Drain the carrots. In a small skillet, melt butter. Add chives, s&p, add carrots and saute for 1 minute.

These are delish!
