Traditionally speaking, sales on various goods run in predictable 12 week cycles. Learning what those cycles are and when to expect them will save more than just your grocery budget!

While it’s helpful to know which produce is in season, it’s equally important to take heed of the various occasions and promotions for each month as well. For example, January is National Oatmeal Month- which means you can often get high dollar coupons for oatmeal, as well as decent sales. It’s the perfect time for restocking your pantry.

Condiments such as ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, pickles and relishes are traditionally on sale during Memorial Day Weekend, the 4th of July and again on Labor Day weekend.

Learn which months to stock up on your favorite items, when to buy it, when to wait and what’s hot!

Filled with an insatiable wanderlust to see the world, I've dedicated most of my life to saving money where I can so I can afford to see and do the things I want. I dug our family out of debt by reducing our grocery expense to less than $300 a month. You can too!
